The Big Gig

The Big Gig

Bring your singing voice along to the ANU School of Music and join us for the Music Engagement Program’s Big Gig event!

The main attraction for the Big Gig this year is ‘Music: Count Us In’, Australia’s largest music advocacy event, celebrated with the special song ‘Gold’. The song is sung simultaneously across Australia by over 500,000 students, united in song.

The singing will be accompanied by the Telopea School Band, directed by Robert Clements, and a regional strings group directed by Dr Lauren Davis. The aim of the concert is to encourage everyone to join together in song, and to encourage more singing to be happening in schools, family homes, and
communities.

All music lyrics will be provided on the day.
