Callum Henshaw triumphs at the Tirana International Guitar Competition

ANU School of Music has received exciting news from Albania that Honours graduate Callum Henshaw has won the 2014 Tirana International Guitar Competition.

The competition was held as part of the Tirana International Guitar Festival at Tirana University of the Arts over two rounds.  The jury's decision was made after a two initial rounds and a 20 minute recital. 

The prize includes an impressive Albert & Müller guitar made by Agron Llanaj (Germany) valued at €7,000 (over $10,000 AUD) and the opportunity to perform at the opening concert of the 2015 Tirana International Guitar Festival.
