Community School of Rock

Ever dreamed of being a rock star, but never had the time and resources  to make it happen?  

Do you want to take the stage with a group of like-minded peers and make your rock star dreams come true?

The ANU Open School of Music's Community School of Rock is your chance to find your inner rock star!  

In partnership with teachers of The Bec Taylor School of Music and staff from the ANU Open School of Music, you'll learn core musical concepts including song-writing, arrangement and instrumentation and the key skills needed to polish, practice and perform your own songs.

If you're over 18 and want to learn how to play a rock instrument, or would like to develop your existing musical skills then enter your details to register.   Beginners welcome.

When:  Every week, Saturday 8 September to Saturday 10 November 2018, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Where:  ANU School of Music, Childers Street, Acton.

What:  Each Saturday session will consist of a 1 hour workshop followed by a small group tutorial of 2 hours.

Cost:  $250.00
