Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsACT, the Music Development Program fees are maintained at a very low rate. Fees go toward instrument maintenance, masterclasses from visiting artists, performance opportunities, and music resources for the Open School.
Non-ACT students may apply for the Music Development Program, however placement preference is given to ACT students, and class limits in all components do apply. Please see the schedule below for fee details.

Individual instrumental tuition
Music Development Program students are required to continue learning to play their instrument by undertaking individual instrumental tuition each week in addition to their development activities at the Open School of Music.
Individual instrumental tuition is negotiated privately between student and teacher (see the School's list of Performance Teaching Fellows) and students will need to pay individual tuition fees directly to their teacher.
Requests for refunds must be received no later than the close of business on the first day of the following semester, and will incur a $30 administration charge. Reasons for refund that will be considered are:
Change of residence by a family moving interstate/overseas
The production of a medical certificate.
