Community School of Rock

Ever dreamed of being a rock star, but never had the time and resources to make it happen?

Do you want to take the stage with a group of like-minded peers and make your rock star dreams come true?

The ANU Open School of Music's Community School of Rock is your chance to find your inner rock star!

In partnership with teachers of The Bec Taylor School of Music and staff from the ANU Open School of Music, this program will teach you core musical concepts and the key skills needed to polish, practice and perform songs.

Our Semester 1 2020 programs run for 4 weeks, from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM on Saturdays in March/April and May.

Session 1 - New Students Only (men & women)
March 14, 21, 28 & April 4

Session 2 - Women Only
May 9, 16, 23 & 30

Each 4 week program concludes with a concert at a local venue where you will have a chance to perform the cover song you have learned with your group.
