Sophie graduated ANU School of Music in 2019 studying Jazz Voice with a minor in Popular Music Studies. Since graduating, Sophie has been performing, producing, and releasing her own music, as well as teaching at the ANU Open School of Music and running her own teaching business. Her original music peaked at number 4 on the Triple J Unearthed charts, and has received airplay nationally and internationally. She is currently gearing up to release 2 EP's with Vacant Room Records in late 2021, and in the meantime is co-writing and collaborating with some amazing artists and producers.

 

Sophie teaches in the "Gugan Gulwan" Music Program, as well as running songwriting in "Contemporary Music Mondays", assisting in "Song to Studio" and various other short workshops through the year. Sophie was the recipient of the Christel Larko Music Scholarship (2017), The Bill Hyslop Prize for Voice (2018), the Marjorie M. Kingston Prize for Creative Leadership in Music (2019) the Alumni Awards Composition Prize (2018) and has been nominated for two Canberra Area Theatre Awards (2016).
