Composition for Film & Video Games

The ANU Composition for Film and Video Game program is widely recognised as Australia’s finest for musical composition in visual media. With a faculty comprised of working professionals in the film, television and video-game industries, the Composition for Film and Video Game program offers its participants unrivalled practical experience and industry connections. Partnered with the Academy of Interactive Entertainment, the Composition for Film and Video Game program provides student composers the unique opportunity to collaborate with game designers and animators in creating music for film, animation and game projects. Additionally, as part of their coursework, student composers will have the opportunity to record their projects with professional musicians and engineers and have access to the ANU Recording Studio.

For entry into the Composition for Film & Video Games program, a digital portfolio of 2-3 scores or recordings of creative work is recommended. Applicants with no prior experience may submit a statement of interest in lieu of a portfolio.
