Join ANU School of Music Performance students for a relaxed lunchtime concert.

The Thursday Quartet

The Thursday Quartet is an ensemble comprised of ANU School of Music contemporary jazz students who rehearse on Fridays and explore different material, pushing their musical capabilities. The performance will feature pieces canonised by jazz greats Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, and Joe Henderson whose collective influence on contemporary music remains fresh and relevant into the 21st Century. Oliver Đurković (tenor saxophone), Felix Huber (piano), Shivi Vachaspati (bass) and Ollie Brissenden (drum set) seek to showcase the musical development students encounter at the School of Music and leave the audience intrigued and stimulated.

Audience members can choose how much they pay for each ticket. All proceeds will go to the ANU School of Music Community Outreach Fund.
