The ANU Community Music Centre entered four groups into the 2024 Musica Viva Strike A Chord National chamber competition. We wish to commend all of these groups for submitting an amazing application that displayed immense profressionalism and musicality. Congratulations to the Junior Guitar Ensemble who placed first in the Novice Section, and also to the BAM String Trio who won the Australian Music Prize. 

Syncopact, the CMC Percussion Ensemble, will be competing in the Grand Finals in Melbourne this weekend alongside 11 other ensembles from all around Australia! If you'd like to cheer them on (31 August, 2pm), the event will be live-streamed and it is free to watch.
