Our Facilities

The School of Music is situated within the main campus of the Australian National University, adjacent to the Central Business District and the Parliamentary Triangle.
The School spans two buildings. The main building was the first purpose-built music school facility in Australia. It houses Llewellyn Hall, the Larry Sitsky Recital Room, lecture theatres, teaching studios and practice rooms, and has played a leading role in the cultural life of Canberra. The more recent Peter Karmel building houses the Jazz and Contemporary staff, and the Big Band Room.
