I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Music with Distinction from the School of Music, Australian National University. I also undertook study with the late Geoffrey Parsons in London, UK, and studied a Master Graduate Diploma Program in piano and piano accompaniment at the Mozarteum, Salzburg, Austria with Prof. Hamlet Hull, and Prof Kammering. I have performed professionally in Australia, Europe, New York and Korea.
I have been awarded numerous scholarships and prizes. I won a First Prize in Chamber Music and a Second Prize in the Mozart Concerto Section and Piano Duo section at the Sydney Eisteddfod competition. As a result of this, I was offered a scholarship with the Australian Youth Orchestra as chamber music pianist and performed with the Australian Youth Orchestra as an orchestral pianist and with the Korean Symphony Orchestra in Korea. I have worked as an accompanist for competitions, including the Tunbridge Wells international competition. I have lectured at Kyungwon University, accompanied APEC choral festivals, and performed in recital with many singers and instrumentalists in London, New York and Korea.
I have worked as an accompanist for several decades now, in Australia, Korea, Austria and England. I have worked with students ranging from high school level to post-graduate level, and I enjoy bringing the best out of students who are at different stages in their learning process.
