2022 Applications
Applications for our 2022 programs closed Monday 29 November.
To keep up to date with future intakes we recommend joining the Open School mailing list.
To ensure placement in an appropriate ensemble, applicants will be invited to submit a streaming interview by 6 December. Applicants will be emailed instructions on how to submit their video, and information about preparing for the streaming interviews can be found here: Streaming Interviews
About the Programs
Developing Musicians Program
The Developing Musicians Program offers young music students the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a small Jazz or Chamber ensemble of their peers, to join the wonderful Vocal Fry choir, or to undertake further studies in music theory and aural skills.
Ages 12 - 21.

Girls Jazz
The Girls Jazz Program offers aspiring young female jazz musicians the oppprtunity to come together for a weekly 2 hour ensemble rehearsal and perform at Open School events.
Ages 12 - 21.
2 hours per week, Thursday afternoons during term time.
$135 per 14 week semester.
Contemporary Music Mondays
The Contemporary Music Mondays Program offers young musicians the oppprtunity to create contemporary music with a particular focus on electronic music and recording.
Ages 12 - 25.
2 hours per week, Monday afternoons during term time.
$135 per 14 week semester.
