Wamburang Women's Choir in concert: ANU Community Music Centre
The ANU Community Music Centre's, Wamburang Women's Choir have been very active in the Canberra music scene in 2025. They've talked (and sung!) with ABC radio, performed at Parliament House, collaborated with Nicole Smede at the Canberra International Music Festival, and most recently performed at ANU's, The Gathering, a conference to celebrate Australia's First Nations composers. These highlights, along with many more appearances around Canberra, made for a very busy year!
The Wamburang Women's Choir will be singing out 2025 in their final concert for the year on Monday 8 December, a casual presentation of the culminated choral efforts of the year. Featuring contemporary music and Indigenous languages of Australia, this family-friendly concert should have something for everyone.
