The Gugan Gulwan Aboriginal Youth Corporation is possibly the only centre in the ACT with a music program which facilitates the opportunity for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to learn and develop musical skills of their traditional cultures and broader music-making. My Song participants develop musical skills as a gradual pathway to performing and connecting with their community. With tutors from the ANU Community Music Centre and guest artists, this program is directed and coordinated by local musician, Dale Huddleston.
