Technology and Music
The invention, and success, of sound recording technologies and radio broadcast, now more than a century ago, brought music to ever wider audiences. Today, the complex of music distribution and the many electronic and digital technologies that underpin music creation, production, and performance, provide an essential lens on how we make and consume music.
The Technology and Music Hub represents the work of our leading academics in this sphere. Colleagues work closely with representatives across the musical world, in both the creative disciplines and with leaders of industry.
Members: Dr Jos Mulder (convenor), Dr Pat O’Grady, Matthew Barnes.
