Community Rockers Raise Roof in Final Concert
SHARE
Participants of the ANU Community Music Centre's, Community Rock School have been meeting on Saturday afternoons for the last five weeks to learn the art of playing in a band. Drawing participants from all over Canberra, from all age brackets (18 and up), various backgrounds, and wide levels of experience, the Community Rock School is a melting pot of creativity and support. After 5 weeks of intense rock school learning (and a ton of fun!), our Community Rockers presented their, 'School's Out!' concert to a packed audience in the Big Band Room (ANU School of Music).
Community Rock School will be returning later in the year, and this time the course will run for 10 weeks, culminating in a concert presented by participants at Canberra's iconic, Smith's Alternative. For more information about this course, please visit our website here: Community Rock School
