Music Enterprise Awards are provided by funds from Creating Youth Business
Initiatives Incorporated (CYBI). The Awards assist School of Music graduates and
graduating students as young entrepreneurs to establish successful, sustainable
businesses; achieve financial and personal independence, and enhance their role in
and contribution to society through their overall personal development.
Awards of this kind are to encourage people specifically looking to develop
enterprise and employment opportunities, for example in composition for commercial
users, technology applications, music production and distribution, film and video
operation, touring soloists and ensembles, and on-line education.
