The newest recording studio in the ANU School of Music is named after the song "Yil Lull" by Murri Aboriginal musician Joe Geia.
The Yil Lull studio offers free recording and music assistance to Indigenous musicians from across Australia and is led by Will Kepa, a proud Torres Strait Islander and School of Music alumnus.
Here, Will tells the story of how the studio got its name before launching into a performance of "Yil Lull".
