Postgraduate

Postgraduate music degrees provide you with the opportunity to undertake research or further study in a selected field of music. This will enable you to further develop your academic, creative or technical expertise in a chosen area of music. This may include a study involving original research in musicology, ethnomusicology, music pedagogy, music technologies and media, historically informed performance, indigenous performance and media, performing arts and communications policy and intangible cultural heritage. You may also study and participate in the interpretation and performance of musical repertoire, the creation of a body of original compositions, the production of a folio of sound recordings, the application of pedagogical methods and contributions to policy debates.
